Chef with the Most Michelin Stars

Quique Dacosta – 5 Michelin stars

When he started working at the El Poblet restaurant at the age of 17, Quique Dacosta came to be in the food business entirely by coincidence. He knew little it was going to be his home. El poblet has recently changed its name to Quique Dacosta and earned 3 Michelin stars, a family-run rice and seafood restaurant. Over the years, many culinary traditions were blended, merged and invented what is today a new Valencia.

His enthusiasm for rice is distinctive about Dacosta, an issue he spent a long time investigating. Dacosta revolutionised the rice world presently. In 2005, Arroces ContemporΓ‘neos published his book, which reviews this emblematically famous component in great depth. Three more have already been released, among them his newest De Tapas con Quique Dacosta, which brings readers to the kitchens of the four restaurants of Dacosta, representing 20 different meals.
